ND: Killdeer + Dickinson Bypass
« on: February 07, 2016, 11:35:14 pm »
So I was digging around today and found that there is a bypass being constructed around the town of Killdeer. According to the second link, this will be completed next fall.

Link 2
While I have no idea what this would be numbered, I wanted to put this on here for future reference, so it's not forgotten.

There is also a bypass in the works for Dickinson, but that's probably not for a long time yet (there's no map I could find).

The NDDOT Construction Viewer has the route number on the Killdeer Bypass as 22, but I'm not sure if that'll be a reroute or a bannered bypass route.

The Killdeer bypass is now done: http://www.nddotdickinson.com/state-local-officials-celebrate-completion-killdeer-truck-bypass-project/

Now someone has to go and see what it's signed as.

OK, as per http://www.dot.nd.gov/travel-info-v2/, ND 22 is now routed along the bypass (now in OSM) and the old routing of ND 22 through town is ND 22B. Now, whether that's signed as ND 22 Business or ND 22B, I have no idea.

Starting a new thread for the Killdeer Bypass; leaving the Dickinson Bypass here until someone can find a map.
