NC: Should There Be A Waypoint for US 701 / NC 96?
« on: July 02, 2019, 12:41:31 am »
I noticed this on Saturday after driving our two remaining sections of NC 96 to clinch all of it.  There is not a waypoint for where US 701 and NC 96 meet.  This would be right by I-95 at Exit 90.  Very inferior interchange that hopefully gets rebuilt one day whenever I-95 widening actually becomes a reality.  Weird interchange as the northbound offramp actually goes into NC 96 first right before it gets to US 701.  It may be overkill as you've got points right there for I-95 and then US 301 right on the other side in a similar situation right by the ramps.  But on the other hand, these two roads do meet there and there is no point.

These seem to be the coordinates:  35.455778, -78.389002

I have added a point.  This is no different than the US 301 point on the other side of the interchange...
