This route follows Albia Rd east from US 34 to Wapello St.

Oh wow. I recall this being the original routing, then it was changed to what's in the HB per an AASHTO application (I forget whether this was when we were still first drafting the US routes, or after I handed Iowa over to Jeff). Looks like signage has yet to catch up?

That's old 34, yes, but the routing changed probably because of the ancient bridge

And there's only one sign that shows it.

I think I have photographed it, just never updated the page. I told myself I was going to go through my entire collection and see what routes needed refreshed for pages, even if it meant refining/adding older ones. Still on the list somewhere.

Unfortunately that sign is of little use to someone headed eastbound. The signage on 34 still had not been updated 2 weeks ago.
