DOWNTIME COMING: 7/13/2019

Siena has scheduled a major power reconfiguration/upgrade for the entire day on Saturday, July 13.  Part of this process requires rewiring both the main and the backup power in the machine room where TM's server and the campus network backbone hardware are located.  Expect no TM/METAL for at least that entire day.  It's possible I'll need to shut down the servers Friday, July 12, and not get them back online until Monday, July 15, but I hope I will have access to the machine room on Saturday morning and evening to minimize the downtime.

Reminder: this service shutdown is still on as planned.  TM will be down for at least several hours, possibly a couple of days in about a week and a half.

Gee whiz, might just have to open Lab2 up to the public! ;)

Update: if all goes well, TM's server will remain up until late Friday evening EDT.  I intend to shut it down no earlier than 11 PM.  The power is expected to be restored by late Saturday, basically whenever the work is done.  The server will then be powered on by the staff managing this project.  If everything comes back up clean (no reason to believe it won't, but...), we'll be good to go at that point.  If not, it will be whenever I can get to the campus and gain access to the machine room.
