Title: Africa motorway networks
Post by: michih on June 18, 2017, 07:56:21 am
Morocco (mara) is already active and Nigeria (ngae) is still in development.

Notes about the systems in preview:

Gabon A1:
L101_S wp should be moved to the overpass
No evidence that A1 is signed (GM/OSM)

Namibia A1:
D1474 wp should be moved to a better location
No evidence that A1 is signed (GM/OSM), OSM indicates B1 only

Senegal A1:
exit 1 is unsigned
exit 2 is signed 1
exit 3 is unsigned
exit 4 is signed 2
exit 5 is signed 4
exit 6 is unsigned
exit 7 is unsigned
exit 8 is signed 7
exit 9 is signed 8
exit 10 is signed 9
exit 11 is signed 10
exit 12 to 14 are not on GSV but I guess they are numbered 11 to 13
According to OSM, A1 ends near Sindia and doesn't change to A2. GM does not show this section at all. Should be checked for other sources

Senegal A2:
Fine but see A1

Tunisia A1:
It was reported that an extension of 100km was opened last November and another 40km section will be opened in 2017.
It seems that OSM has recently been updated and the 100km section is indicated opened if you zoom in.

Tunisia A3:
exit 5 wp should be moved onto A3
exit 7 wp location is odd. According to OSM it's more to the east and the section up to your end point is still u/c!?

Tunisia A4:
Fine

Gabon - I can't find signs, but I'm going to invoke Interstate rules and keep it!

Namibia - the change was only last month

Senegal - A2 is not 100% confirmed, but it's not part of the A1. I'm going by wegenwiki, and Chris Zwolle's research

Tunisia - changes made (ditto other routes)

all of them -> activate
