Title: KS: KS 7 rerouting in Olathe
Post by: the_spui_ninja on June 24, 2017, 11:11:06 am
Apparently, KS 7 was recently rerouted along KS 10, I-435, and I-35.

See here (http://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=20428.0) for updates.

Thanks. Been watching that thread. I'll make the changes when there's confirmation that signage has changed on the ground.

UPDATE! - The KDOT GIS System has now reverted K-7 back to its routing through Olathe. The turnback project, which had been deleted when the GIS system moved K-7 onto the I-35/K-10 routing, has now been re-posted with the "opening date" changed to September 14.

The KDOT GIS system is now showing K-7 on the I-35/I-435/K-10 routing once again. The PDF maps of Johnson County on the KDOT website have also been changed. Again, I have not seen any evidence of signage changes in the field.

I did find this update on the forum from 2019:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=24935.msg2413228#msg2413228

Otherwise, I have no clue if this is actually happening.
