Title: ND: Killdeer Bypass now open!
Post by: the_spui_ninja on November 01, 2016, 11:35:24 am
See http://tm.teresco.org/forum/index.php?topic=74.0 (http://tm.teresco.org/forum/index.php?topic=74.0) for previous info.

This would entail switching ND 22 over to the bypass and designating the old route as either ND 22B or ND 22 Business (depending on signage)

Does this look like ND 22 Business to anyone (it kinda does, but the camera is too low-resolution)?

This is looking north into Killdeer along ND 22B.

I have attached some files @the_spui_ninja emailed to me that would add this.  Anyone willing to take a look, make any needed fixes (including csv changes and updates entry/ies) and make a pull request?

I've downloaded the files, and will work on this tomorrow.

It's confirmed as ND22Bus rather than ND22B, then?

"B" could be either Business or Bypass. My guess is that here it would be "Business:". If it were a new route, rather than a redesignation of the old alignment, I'd put it down as "Bypass", as we did with US 85B in Williston.

Still unclear whether 22B is signed, as such or as Business ND 22. Just to keep the bypassed mileage in our system, I'd err on the side of leaving it in as Business ND 22, which we can fix later if we find it has no route signage.

It looks like from the traffic cameras that the signs aren't "ND 22B", and it wouldn't make sense for it to be a bypass.

Pull request submitted. Only changes to the_spui_ninja's files were to add nd. prefix to filenames, and point relabel in one file.

And it's in the site update currently in progress.  Should be live on site in about 30 minutes.

Everything looks alright; isn't the format for naming ND22/22Bus instead of ND22.22Bus?

Yep. I'll get that typo fixed once my eyes are more awake.

The typo was one of the hazards of trying to get a little work done here only a week after eye surgery.

EDIT: Correction now in the HB.
