One of the key reasons why WY789 is so bad is that the US highways that I inherited are really old files. I did some clean up when I took over the state for CHM, but that was mostly checking blatant problems and getting point names fitting new standards and such.

It might be worthwhile to carry on this review by looking through the other routes in the state as they are rather shonky.

I'll look into that after this is done.

WY 789 Cont.:
"GreMouRd" is off to the west. "OreRd" is off to the west. "HapSprRd" is off to the west. "SweBasRd" is off to the east. "GraRd" is off to the east. "AtlCityRd" is Hudson-Atlantic City Road and is off to the southeast. "X18" is off to the south. "X19" is off to the west. "X20" is off to the west. "X21" is off to the southwest. "BeaCreRd" is off to the west. "X22" is off to the southwest. "X23" is off to the north. "TwinCreRd" is off to the west. "X24" is off to the north. "DalDomeRd" is off to the east. "DeaGulRd" is off to the west. "US287_N" is off to the northwest. "RifRanRd" is not a road, but Escarpment Road is about 100 m to the east. "LyoValRd" is off to the west. I would recommend moving the "MarSt" point to 1st St (a block south); it's more centralized in Hudson. "WY138" is now just Rendezvous Road and is off to the west. "X25" is off to the southwest. "ElmDr" is off to the southwest. "WY137" is also now Rendezvous Road and is off to the north. "US26_W" is off to the west. "WebRd" is off to the south. Should "BurmaRd" be "BurRd"? "CloRd" is off to the southeast. "BassLakeRd" is off to the northeast. "X26" is off to the north. "US20/26_E" is off to the east. "CaryDr" is off to the southeast. "BonRd" is off to the north. "X27" is off to the east. "BirRd" is off to the southeast. "BoyDr" is off to the southeast. "BurDr" is the Boysen Reservoir dam access road (unnamed); it is also off to the southeast. "X28" is off to the east. "X29" is off to the east. Not exactly sure what "WindPoi" is, but it's off to the east. "X30" is off to the west. "X31" is off to the north.

IIRC, I've only put CRxxx where it is mapped on OSM as such.
All that means is that a bored mapper added ref tags to everything for which TIGER data gave a county route number. It doesn't mean anything about whether it actually is said route.

When I was reviewing, I only recommended the CR methodology in counties that pentagon county roads (after checking with the respective county GIS and any other available source); I've traveled to every county in Wyoming within the past 5 years so I think I had a pretty current snapshot of what was on the ground.
