DE 30: Extension to DE 1 BUS (Milford)

FYI, I extended DE 30 to DE 1 BUS (Milford) based on signage in the field showing that DE 30 continues north of Wilkins Rd to DE 1 BUS via Cedar Creek Rd.

This does mean that DE 30 and DE 1 do not line up anymore.  The DE1 label on DE 30 is now an alternate label for Wilkins Rd (WilRd).

FYI, those are the same old signage locations from when DE 30's original ending was at BUS 1, which predates the DE 1 interchange at DE 30/Wilkins Rd (ca. 2014).  Given the nuances of the Delaware highway system (virtually every public road outside the cities is DelDOT-maintained), it doesn't surprise me that the signs are still there.

DelDOT shapefiles since 2014 show DE 30 ending at DE 1 at the Wilkins Rd interchange.

Because of this, I would suggest switching DE 30 back to ending at DE 1.

Froggie, I do agree with your statements as even the DelDOT Traffic Data and the project plans support this.

I could not find a signing plan to verify why the signing was not changed at the DE 30 intersection with Wilkins Rd to reflect this.  My support in making this change comes mainly on the fact that the posting in the field was not changed to show DE 30 following Wilkins Rd to DE 1 instead of the existing route to DE 1 BUS. 

GSV does not show the ramps from DE 1 NB to Wilkins Rd or Wilkins Rd after 2012.  Does anyone know if there are DE 30 shields there without "TO" banners?

EDIT:  I do see these shields when you zoom in from DE 1 SB at the overpass.

Through Personal Message on aaroads, a forum member that lives in Delaware agreed to check on this yesterday.  Below is the response I received.

I just did a check about 45 minutes ago and it appears that coming off the ramp from DE-1 NB to Wilkins Road, you get NO signage related to DE-30.  If you turn left onto Wilkins Road, you get "Jct DE-30" then South 30 to your left and North 30 to your right.

Therefore, I am still going through with extending DE 30 to DE 1 BUS.  Obviously it can be changed back in the future if signage is changed to reflect that it ends at DE 1.  I will most likely finalize the pull request on this later today.
