Title: WA: WA525 points
Post by: Eth on June 13, 2019, 09:47:58 am
There's a point on WA525 at what appears to be where the current alignment departs from the location of an old alignment. This is labeled as "106thSt", though for the life of me I have no idea why. (The route does in fact intersect 106th Street, but it's a minor intersection roughly two miles north of where this point is.) Would suggest perhaps renaming to OldMukSpe (or whatever the appropriate abbreviation for "Speedway" is).

Also, would it be appropriate to add a point at Beverly Park Rd? Used that yesterday as a route to Paine Field, I think due to traffic on WA99. If not, no big deal.

Yeah, this definitely looks like something that needs fixing. And I'd support adding a point at Beverly Park Road. I'll get to this within the next few weeks.

I would have preferred to get rid of the 106thSt waypoint and make it a shaping point since it is really close to the LinWay waypoint and there's only a RIRO intersection there, but the point was in use, so I had to keep it. Also added the Beverly Park Road waypoint as well as another major intersection, and corrected the name for another waypoint. Yeah, that waypoint file had a few issues...

Was it used in only one .list file? Looking at the HB, it seems that might be the case. If so, that's mine and I'll be updating it to use BevParkRd anyway.

Thanks, I've went ahead and removed that waypoint. https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/3054
