Last I checked, the BL had Caltrans-maintained signage from southbound US 101. Reassurance shields on California business routes usually are locally-maintained, and sometimes the local maintenance fades away before Caltrans gives up on the route. Or, as happened with the weird three-legged set of Interstate BLs in Lake Elsinore (which I field-checked in April, on my way to visit my sister in San Diego County), local signage on an apparently dead business route makes a comeback for some unknown reason.

We deep-sixed the US 101 business route in Ukiah, but I took my time about it to make sure it was really dead.

King City - not signed from US 101; no reassurance shields - remove

On these, did you check both directions of US 101, NB for signage of the south end of the business route, and SB for signage of the north end? GMSV could be used to help verify, but your eyeballs would be more up-to-date than GMSV.

I was headed north and didn't have time to double back (I'd come down the coast on the Shoreline/PCH).
