Given that cism and cisa exist for Central Asia, we don't need to use naca for a system that's not in the entirety of North America. Would caca or camca be better?
-
naca - Central America Highways (country code NA for North America)
English name or Spanish name: Rutas Centroamericanas? @Si404!

camca, given the meaning of 'caca' in Spanish! ;D

Spanish. We use the native for other system names when we know it.

El Salvador signage is not so good, but I found a CA-1 shield (https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=13.982983079532163&lng=-89.59632890994152&z=17&pKey=eNdO8_fLxQbcgwvmLfM-Cw&focus=photo&x=0.5095575025415257&y=0.41116658061859396&zoom=0) (which points the wrong way?) and a CA-12 shield (https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=13.984885420896138&lng=-89.59872543910123&z=17&pKey=CffwDBXPJNxax5FATCjAjQ&focus=photo&x=0.5222903903976804&y=0.43009328409406483&zoom=1.9859154929577465).

gtm.ca009sur (http://travelmapping.net/hb/?r=gtm.ca009sur&lat=14.622205&lon=-90.519619&zoom=10) and gtm.ca009nor (http://travelmapping.net/hb/?r=gtm.ca009nor&lat=14.622205&lon=-90.519619&zoom=10) are not connected and should have separate naca_con.csn entries. They should also be named after a city they pass through, rather than a simple "Sur" & "Norte".
CA13 & CA13A are separate designated routes and should not be connected.

Disagree. Sur and Norte are how they are referred to behind the scenes, and this even spills over onto some signs.

I have no strong feeling on this.

Signs that use directions or abbreviations:

Signs that don't:

Note that CA-1 and CA-2 also use these suffixes behind the scenes and sometimes on signs. But both of these have logical alignments to connect the two halves, while CA-9 doesn't.
