Title: Heads Up: Site update program and database changes
Post by: Jim on June 01, 2016, 09:15:26 am
I don't think anyone else is actively doing web development right now, but just in case.  I am working (in GitHub-forked repositories and a test web server) on the changes that consolidate the active-only and active+preview site update processes and databases.  Changes are being made throughout the web front end to utilize the new database format.

This round of site update code, database format, and web front end changes are now live on the site and in the GitHub TravelMapping master.

I continue to encourage anyone with the skills and time to contribute to the web front end, but I would ask that you coordinate with me, as I think my next project will be some code refactoring and reorganization throughout the web interface.

I'm looking at jumping back in.  Jim please refer to the email I sent you.

EDIT: I would imagine that most of the work's done already, so I'm late to the party again.  ;)
