Title: GA: US29 relocation in Lawrenceville
Post by: Eth on October 28, 2019, 10:18:39 pm
The US29 relocation in Lawrenceville outlined in the Spring 2018 AASHTO meeting (see map on page 123 (https://route.transportation.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/50/2018/05/004_USRN_Part-1-AL-GA.pdf)) appears to have now taken place, per Tom958 at AARoads (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=204.msg2452465#msg2452465). GMSV on westbound US29/GA316 at GA8 east of Lawrenceville was updated in July and now shows signage for both US29 and GA8 continuing west on 316, with the old route seemingly no longer signed as a numbered route.

This would also affect GA8 in the preview usaga system.

I haven't driven the new route myself yet, but could potentially go check it out as early as Sunday.

This was completed in the last couple of weeks in one of the GA route pushes.
