MD: MD787 Decommissioned
« on: October 25, 2022, 11:38:51 pm »
According to the 2012 MDSHA Highway Location Reference (see page 4 of this document), MD787 was decommissioned and transferred to Takoma Park in August 2012. All signage has been removed as of a few weeks ago.

Does that include this sign?  It was the reason that I did not post anything in July.

Straggling sign aside it's clearly decommissioned so away it goes.

I wonder if we should also treat MD 5 BUS (Leonardtown) the same way.

Well business routes in many states are often not state maintained, buuuuuut the other ones in MD all are so yeah the fact that that one isn't and is signed poorly tells me it should go.

That is fine enough for consistency.  Basically I considered MD 5 BUS (Leonardtown) and MD 787 the same way as having straggling signs that were never removed for some reason.
