Title: MN US169 labels, Shakopee
Post by: yakra on May 04, 2022, 04:39:25 pm
CR69_S & CR101 should refer to US169Bus, if not convert to exit numbers.

With two exceptions, business routes in Minnesota are by and large "afterthoughts".  I wouldn't even put them at the same level as county routes.

The two exceptions are BUS 2 in East Grand Forks and 371 in Brainerd...both of those, at least, are on the state highway system.

Define "afterthought" - Bus US169 looked very signed to me.

Despite the signage, MnDOT doesn't consider them as being routes aside from the two aforementioned exceptions.  Purely local in nature...71/23 through Willmar is an excellent example of that as they have unique signage that existed before MnDOT standardized business route signage for local jurisdictions to use.

That said, I do have the known ones in the HB except for BUS 60 in St James as signage no longer exists for that one.
