Title: OR: US30BusHun
Post by: Bickendan on May 10, 2022, 10:44:24 pm
Verify with ODOT GIS if Bus 30 starts at the Lime interchange (I-84 342) or at the Huntington interchange (346) as signed.
Also verify if it's Bus 30 or 30 prime; BGS indicates bus; shield at bottom of ramp indicates mainline, and reassurance shields only show 84 south of there...

According to ODOT's GIS, while not signed from I-84 as such, ORH 449 does originate from exit 342 (Lime), and not 345. Also indicates it is US 30 itself, not Bus US 30.

TO DO: Replace US30BusHun with US30.

Find time to clinch the now unclinched 3 mile segment of US 30 (http://wordforge.net/images/smilies/dry2.gif)

^ I'm confused. The US 30 mainline sign at the end of the exit ramp you mention seems to be at exit 345, not exit 342, which would suggest that US 30 leaves I-84 at exit 345. Also, there's this set of signs (https://goo.gl/maps/pCCUVDJAwNV88DV26), indicating that US 30 westbound returns to I-84 at exit 345, rather than in Lime (exit 342).

The difference affects my coast-to-coast US 30 clinch, as my travels include what the HB has as Business US 30 (Huntington) only east of exit 345, not between 342 and 345.

Going to go with on the ground signage here, with nothing until Exit 345, not 342.
Marking as solved.
