NC: US-70BusDur rerouted
« on: May 20, 2022, 02:31:13 am »
Not going to do anything with US 70 at the I-885 area until 885 opens because there are a couple ways of doing this.  Is the US 70 Bus relocation permanent or just a detour while they finish up the Carr Rd interchange?

So, yeah, seems that the reroute to the NC-98 interchange is permanent.  Just spotted this gem via StreetView on the exit ramps to NC-98.

That screams 'permanent' to me for sure.

Also this EB BGS for the interchange: https://goo.gl/maps/3b6y5y5VC1bvCvTr7  And the WB counterpart (even though covered over, can still make out the start of the word "Business"): https://goo.gl/maps/LxqYyajs63tjZhbK6
