I was poking around testing the new NMP functionality and noticed that KY 2628 jogs up into Tennessee. Do we care?
-
I was told that there are no exceptions. Route must be split!
-
Ouch. Yeah, split it.
-
Are we sure that it crosses the line? Could it be an OSM error?
-
The border is shown the same in ESRI layers FWIW.
-
I've opened a different route by mistake and saw a KY route crossing the border but... Never mind my first comment, the situation of (the real) KY2628 is not as clear as I wrote :D Sorry...
-
I'm having a hard time seeing where it enters Tennessee on any map other than OSM. It follows Fairgrounds Rd mostly right along the state line, except east of Bryant Road, but that part of Fairgrounds Rd isn't part of KY 2628.
-
After crossing the railroad tracks just east of US41.
-
No, wait, that part is MORE into Kentucky. I was looking at the border and thinking most of the route was on the line and saw the part that jogs north, forgetting for the moment that Tennessee is SOUTH of Kentucky. So my mistake, nothing to see here, sorry for the distraction.

...And I did the exact same thing! :-[
