The Recommended Alternative can be seen on pages 3-25 through 3-27

I am not sure how many changes may be needed here beyond a new point for the new I-35 connection when complete (currently scheduled for December 2024).

The proposed flyover spans could not be a part of a through-route US 169 because right now, 169 has to use West 5th's ramp to get onto WB I-70. I assume that ramp is kept, but not constructed new thus its absence from the diagrams. But in at least one version, even that can't work.

Here's a more detailed image of the 169/70/35 junction (this post in case the image link goes bad: https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=30383.msg2673684#msg2673684); it looks like all that will have to be done once the new bridge is complete is to add a point for the I-35 ramps.
