US 61 has been slightly rerouted near Scott City, MO. Just south of Kelso, US 61 turns east and connects with I-55 at a newly constructed interchange (exit 87, I think). The exit and new stretch of US 61 are open. I drove them on 11/9/2019. I should have taken pictures, but I didn't realize this was new construction/routing until I returned home.
The prior alignment of US61 north of MO route PP is now signed as Business US 61 all the way to exit 89 on I-55.
Looks like this will require changes to US61 and I-55 as well as the creation of a new US61 Business route.
Attached is the best evidence I can find showing the new construction.

OK. Thank you for letting me know. This was on an earlier AASHTO meeting but it was so early in construction that OSM didn't have it. I presumed an around-Thanksgiving opening but needed a line sketched out like you attached.
I'm calling it Exit 87 unless/until told otherwise.

The MoDOT online map has it as Exit 87, so that should be fine.

Neat. That should be in now.

Because Iowa State will not be going to the Liberty Bowl this year, US 61 in Missouri shall remain unclinched for me. :P
