NC: US-64 new interchange (Pittsboro Byp)
« on: November 13, 2020, 05:36:01 am »
The new interchange is for Chatham Park Way.  I'm guessing it's Exit #385, but not 100% sure on this, as the signage in StreetView is still covered, but you can at least see the '3', proving it was given a number, & not left un-numbered.

Also, the Pittsboro bypass exits all have exit numbers, and since we have added numbers to US-64's file in other places already, I think it's wise to add them here too, especially since needing to add that new exit mentioned above.

US64BusPit_W -> 378
NC87 -> 381
US15/501 -> 383
US64BusPit_E -> 386

385 looks an eensy bit more probably than 384, but I could see it also being that, because Murphy's Law. I Googled around for an exit number with no success.
While on the topic of exit numbers, LizLickRd thru OldFraRd all have exit numbers shown in OSM. I only bothered to check LizLickRd in GMSV, but Exit 432 is shown in the field.
I don't know if these numbers would be slated to change per the I-87 designation; that could maybe complicate things. (I-87FutRoc itself has 3 waypoints labeled without exit numbers.)
Since US64 is itself an exit-numbered highway, the 4(87) thru 14(87) labels just west of there are correct. Moving westward...
I-40(###) -> ###(40)
US1(###) -> ###(1)
US1(98) -> 404
Add interchange for KelRd just west of NC540.
NC16 -> 254

US264 also has some labels that can similarly change.

Pretty sure they would change, since they already changed some from US-64 numbers to I-87 when it got posted.  Thing is, we just don't know when that will happen.  Odds are, only once they 'upgrade' that section to Interstate standards.

I'm sure the same issue will happen with US-264 as well when it becomes I-587, as they will no longer start it's own numbering @ 19, and that will odds are, become exit 1.
