Title: MD: MD 852
Post by: Markkos1992 on January 28, 2021, 08:16:50 pm
I wanted to clinch MD 852 (this part anyway) yesterday before posting this.  Anyway now that I have, here is what I see based on using MD852C in the HLR (https://www.roads.maryland.gov/OPPEN/CO06_HLR.pdf).

1.  The MD27_W point should be moved to be synced with the MD852_S on MD 27.
2.  The MD27_E point should be put across from the MD852_N point with an End point put where MD27_E currently is.
3.  The MD 27 points should be S and N (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.6641763,-76.8866192,3a,75y,309.83h,83.7t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sB_19_ulcGxqVn51LtQ4gEg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) instead of W and E.

So, seeing as the route only actually intersects MD27 once... the three new visible waypoint labels will be MD27, ToMD27, and End.

Good call on the west end though. This is not clearly signed but it does match up to the 0.52 miles shown in HLR.

The only question I have is if on MD 27 you should have used ToMD852 instead of OldManRd.
