We were in Middlesboro visiting Cumberland Gap this past weekend. I had seen on the map that there were a lot of small roads in town, so I had printed out a map beforehand. On previous visits, we had just gone up and down US 25E. We have a couple of findings. Both of these seem to be very new as they did not show up in the March 2019 or August 2018 street view shots I saw on Google Maps. Attaching a couple of shots that my wife got on her phone.
- KY 74 Truck - After not seeing it on the site after our first night in Middlesboro, we decided to follow it. It is routed through town on existing roads. Coming along US 25E after coming through the tunnel, you continue straight on US 25E while KY 74 turns left at the first light. Instead, you continue down to Walmart and turn left on KY 441. After a short run, it turns left with KY 2079. KY 2079 heads back towards downtown, crossing over KY 74 and then runs parallel on Winchester Avenue. At 38th Street, KY 2079 ends but if you stay straight for a couple of blocks, you are on KY 3502. Then, you turn right onto KY 186 when it then meets back up with KY 74, across from KY 1599.
- KY 2402 - While driving along KY 441 from US 25E to complete it, we encountered signs for KY 2402. This is right where N 25th St, Hurst Rd, and Binghamtown Rd come together at an all way stop (https://www.google.com/maps/@36.6237082,-83.7156929,3a,75y,250.87h,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sqs5GqkYQQBH07iB6oIaORw!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo1.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3Dqs5GqkYQQBH07iB6oIaORw%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D246.6278%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192). There is a BP gas station on one of the corners. You would turn right there to continue on KY 441. But the new sign said KY 2402 straight. I only recall seeing one KY 2402 sign and that was right after we crossed through the intersection. Not quite sure how long it is actually KY 2402. We followed it until it came out at KY 74. Google Maps has it labeled all the way to KY 74. I did find it listed on the Kentucky Official DMI Route Log (https://apps.transportation.ky.gov/dmi_reports/Official_MP_RL_Report1.aspx?param=BELL) on pages 18-19 and it seems to agree with Google Maps.

Thanks for scouting these and especially for the photos. They have been added to my local copy.
