Just bumping this for visibility.  We've had maybe 5 people in various threads volunteer to help with this, but without much response to those offers.  I know very little about Mississippi other than the ~10 times I've driven through, but I'm happy to work on this so we can get all 50 states finally done.  I'd just need a little guidance on how to do things to standard, but I believe I could get it done pretty quickly.  Just more or less need someone to give me a go ahead and we could wrap this up.

Best way to help, at this point, is to peer review Alabama.  It has been my preference to complete Alabama before I tackle Mississippi.

Perhaps it would help if one of our experienced highway data managers could take the pass through to clean up the usai and usaus routes so those aren't holding up progress on usams?

I can start tackling that then.  No problem.

Maybe Adam should try touching base with formulanone first.

Sorry, I've been really tied up (well, distracted).

Finished the Mississippi Interstate and US route cleanup and that got posted this past week.  Starting to work on the state routes and already run into my first problem:

MS 4 & MS 7 in Holly Springs.

Close to a decade ago, Marshall County built what is effectively a northern bypass of Holly Springs, along Landfill Rd and Eddie Lee Smith Dr.  There appears to have been an intention to reroute both MS 4 and MS 7 onto it.  GMSV shows some signage of such, but is both inconsistent and confusing.  Recent MDOT maps and data, however, indicate that MS 4 and MS 7 still go through the center of town.

What I'm hoping for is someone who can do an actual in-person field check to see if it's signed as MS 4/MS 7 and, if so, if signage has been removed through town and if there's any indications along I-22.  I've also shared this field check request on AARoads.

For now, I'm drafting the Holly Springs lists as if the routes still go through the center of town, pending conclusive/consistent evidence stating otherwise.

I took MS 4 from US 45 to MS 7 (then onto MS 311) back in July; my photos show that the northern bypass of Holly Springs isn't signed yet. However, one sign assembly appears to have a sign covered up, so I don't know what that might be. Google might have the right idea, but the signage is on the old alignment...for now.

I have not yet traversed downtown Holly Springs.

Sticking with the downtown alignments for the time being.

And on that note, I decided to just plow ahead on the MS routes, despite AL not being peer reviewed.  Created a pull request for MS1-MS12 on Github.

Created a pull request for routes from 13 to 30 plus an Easter egg, and added usams as a development system so hopefully it will be shown in the HB.

Yay!

MS5 has points for MS5_N and MS5_S, which should be MS4_N and MS4_S.
