ON: ON 2 extended?
« on: April 17, 2021, 12:40:42 am »
I was looking at the Ontario list for something lse when my listing for ON 2 caught my eye. When did I get declinched?

Brought up the page for ON 2. When did *everybody* get declinched? ON 2 got extended from 1000 Islands Pkwy to the Gananoque border and I don't think anyone ever noticed it.

I've expanded my ON 2 entry to go to King St, since in fact I've traveled Old Kings Highway 2 all the way from the 401 *through* Gananoque. Possibly all the way to Kingston. I can't be the only person who this affects.

Code: [Select]
2021-02-21 (Canada) Ontario ON 2 on.on002 Extended at western end from the interchange with 1000 Islands Parkway to the Gananoque city boundary line (KingSt).
Did this due to talking with somebody in the MTO, and signage still somewhat confirms it goes that far.

Okay. I just got taken by surprise, and apparently so did everyone else. (Small sample size for "everyone" I admit; the number of drivers who had clinched ON 2 previous to the extension was only 5, including myself,)
