Title: CO: CO 233 unsigned
Post by: oscar on August 29, 2020, 11:51:53 pm
I drove it earlier today.  No CO 233 signage on the route itself (Baxter Rd.), US 50, or US 50 Business, in either direction.

The nearby parallel CO 231 is fully signed.

Didn't see your post before I sent something also.  Did you see anything for 227 in Pueblo?  I didn't see anything at all catching it from Business 50 north to CO96.

That's cause it no longer exists! (at least according to the data explorer)

According to the explorer, the only state-maintained part is from 50B to the end of the ramps (about 0.3 mi); it looks like they removed all signage for 227 back in 2015 or so. I'm comfortable taking it out if no one else has a problem with it.

As nice of a ramp as it was, nothing exciting that would make anyone "want" to clinch it.  Give it the boot.

I drove CO 227 as displayed in the HB earlier today, on my way out of Colorado (right now, at the Kansas border heading east). Similar to CO 233, no CO 227 signage anywhere on the route itself, or CO 96 or US 50 Bus.

Neato, I'll axe it.

Since we're on Pueblo here, I noticed that the HB has 50B following Santa Fe St. through downtown to Exit 99B, the data explorer has 50B following Santa Fe St. to CO 96, and signage (per Google Maps) has 50B merging with I-25 at Exit 98A and skipping downtown entirely.

I'm leaning toward moving it to the Interstate right now.

That is correct based on my experience.
