Future I-795 hasn't yet been extended southwest from its current end at US 1 to I-95. The interchange on I-95 looks close to completion, but I didn't check out the rest of the extension under construction.
Signage at the new interchange at I-95 confirms that it will be exit 333. There are partly-concealed route markers on the signs, but only for a Florida state route rather than for an Interstate.
-
Any exit numbers showing up on FL-9B yet (like painted on the pavement at off-ramps, like what happen on FL-9A before it became part of I-295)?

I don't know, I didn't (re)drive FL 9B yesterday, just I-95.

Alright, just checking.
Once I get my PC back online next week, I'll add in a 'hidden' 333 point for the interchange in I-95's file till it's open. :)

Signage with exit tabs went up recently. I had to drive it a few times to make sure I read them correctly because the numbers appear to be out of order:
From north to south:
- Exit 4 - E-Town Parkway
- Exit 2 - US1
- Exit 3 - Durbin Road
-
I think they may be doing it that way because of the road extending farther south (as 9B) so they don't have to renumber.
Hmmm, I think you're right about the exit numbers for US-1 & Durbin Road being out of order. Might want to contact FDOT then about it before the extension is opened.
Still, any pictures? :P hehe. Want to see them for the fun of it. :)

I didn't take any pics when I went though since I don't have any good way of taking pictures while driving, so I went back there tonight and pulled to the side. (NOTE: Not embedding due to large images.)

The pics of the Durbin Road Blvd sign didn't come out that great since it was farther away.
At least these are somewhat legible.

I checked streetview before posting earlier (https://www.google.com/maps/@30.131996,-81.5127005,3a,75y,247.29h,80.15t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s9iErvkt0ByJ_63Q9VwHu5g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) to refresh my memory and confirm the name of the road the ramp was connecting to. As you can see, Durbin Rd (Not Blvd) is shown. A second set of street blades can be seen at the same intersection with completely different street names which I initially dismissed as an error. After more thorough browsing, I found that was the only sign referencing this road as Durbin Rd. Every other street blade signs the road as Flagler Center Blvd.

Thanks for posting those pictures. :) That's crazy how they flipped the exit numbers. Hopefully they will be fixed before the highway is opened. At least now there's historical documentation of those exit numbers in case FDOT does get them fixed. ;)

You know theFXexpert, there's an e-mail for people who should be contacted about 9B on their website.
http://www.sr9b.com/Pages/Directory.aspx
I would send an e-mail to both of them about those exit numbers. ;)
-
I delayed typing up the email since I had a test to study for and didn't send it until Wednesday afternoon. I got a response today saying they are looking into it. Nothing else. I'll keep you all updated.

Exit 4 is going to be hidden for quite a while, I suspect. The road goes about 1/4 mile both ways from 9B and ends nowhere. :)
I'm surprised at Exit 2 -- the last time I drove it (within the last 2 weeks), there was no label at the US 1 exit. But the signs for the next exit are definitely Exit 3 (Durbin Rd).

Appreciate it! 8)

I was actually that way today...the only additional comment I have is that Exit 3 is Durbin Blvd (according to signage). Which makes even less sense...since there's an already existing Durbin Blvd on the west side of I-95!

SR 9B opening has been scheduled (https://myfdotnefl.wordpress.com/2016/05/23/new-state-road-9b-scheduled-to-open-in-june/)
Also, I talked with some people from FDOT at an open house for the I-295 express lanes a while back and confirmed to me that a contractor started the mile markers/exit numbers at the wrong end and will be fixed.

SR 9B opening has been scheduled (https://myfdotnefl.wordpress.com/2016/05/23/new-state-road-9b-scheduled-to-open-in-june/)
Opening has been postponed until next weekend due to tropical storm. http://www.nflroads.com/SR9B/Phase2/Documents/SR%209B%20Opening%20Postponed%20June%203%202016.pdf
-
South-bound lanes of phase II are now open. Mileposts are not fixed yet. Mile marker 4 is located within the I-95 interchange. The I-95 interchange is unnumbered.
-
The northbound lanes have opened as scheduled.
-
Did they at least fix the exit numbers for the other two interchanges?
-
No.
-
Ok then, will just use 'name' labels for the time being till that's all sorted out.
-
Update to I-795 Future and FL-9B are now done.
https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/618
Will leave this topic marked as un-solved till they fix the exit numbers and I can update the file with them.
-
theFXexpert, any update with fixing the incorrect exit numbers in the field yet?
-
Last time I went by was the end of July, nothing has changed.
-
Update: The E-Town Parkway exit had its exit number changed with greenout. It is now exit 1. Still unopened. But it looks like they are going with this numbering scheme.
So the exits are (starting from north end):
I-295
Exit 1 - E-Town Pkwy [unopened]
Exit 2 - US1
Exit 3 - Durbin Blvd
I-95
-
So, no number for the I-95 interchange yet?
Anyways, those changes above have been submitted. I've also reversed both ways based on the exit numbers, as we have done this before with other routes (like ON-417).
