OK: I-44 Exit Revisions
« on: September 22, 2021, 08:09:23 pm »
1.  237>-236B
2.  Should 242 be 34(WRT), 33A(WRT), or even US412/364?  It definitely should not be 242 from what I see on GSV in the area.
3.  227 should be slightly relocated to the south.

(1 and 3 also affect OK 66, 1 also affects US 412)

Worth noting here that those numbers don't actually belong to the Will Rogers Turnpike - they belong to the Creek Turnpike, which currently uses the label 33 at its terminus here.
Same deal for the half interchange at Pine Street, actually - this section of road was built as part of the Creek Turnpike (at least one sign even explicitly labels it as such), the Will Rogers Turnpike mainline is resumed at *244.
And on that note, I don't think there was ever actually an interchange there, which makes 244 an invented exit number.

With all three of these things in mind I would recommend the following:
- 242 -> 33(CT) or 33(CreTpk)
- 35(WRT) -> 35(CT) or 35(CreTpk)
- *244 -> *OldI-40

Changed. Looks like this originally had no signed exit number, so 237 was fudged.

3.  227 should be slightly relocated to the south.
Neato, the highway was realigned a bit south here.
It's only off by ~50m, as are many points in the area (e.g. 215) or on OK's Interstates in general. Not going to jump down this rabbit hole at this time.

- 242 -> 33(CT) or 33(CreTpk)
NB/EB, it's Exit 33A/B, but SB/WB, it's 34/33A. Great going, OTA. :pan: Since the exit number travelers following I-44 encounter is 34, going with 34(364) per wayptlabels.php#exitconc_num_on_num.
On US412, relabeled I-44/364.

- 35(WRT) -> 35(CT) or 35(CreTpk)
Changed to 35(364).

- *244 -> *OldI-40
Changed to *OldI-44.
