Title: KY: US 127 South of Jamestown
Post by: Markkos1992 on May 30, 2022, 09:09:38 pm
HB's trip report mentions that US 127 has been relocated south of Jamestown.  I have not looked deeply into this at the moment.  (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=31569.msg2742258#msg2742258)

Thanks for the link. Looks like there are several items in that post to investigate, which I will do later this month.

^ The Updates item table notes that part of the relocated US 127 alignment is now part of the extended KY 2284. However, while KY 2284's waypoint CR1596 marks one end of the old US 127, there is no point for the other end, since it appears Sewellton Rd. north of Ballenger Rd. was part of old 127 but is not now part of KY 2284. Should there be a point at the Sewellton/Ballenger intersection, for those of us wanting to salvage a little mileage from the US 127 relocation?

Figures that just after I reclinched two other US routes (US 12 relocation in Indiana, US 14's in Minnesota), I would lose my clinch of US 127.
