I was in Jonesboro earlier this month and noticed US 63 is now signed with US 49 from I-555 to at least AR 226. I did not go any further south on 49/63 so don’t know if 63 is fully signed all the way to I-40 now. This realignment was approved by AASHTO earlier this year.
-
Did you also happen to notice if I-555 is signed all the way to AR91 now?

Got a link to some photos? I'd like to have some visual evidence before I make the changes.

I-555 is not signed past US 49/US 63 South (Exit 45).

There are a few pictures near the beginning of this album which will give you an idea of what is signed: https://www.flickr.com/photos/okroads/albums/72157712310488201 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/okroads/albums/72157712310488201)

In May 2019, AASHTO approved a relocation of US 63 between I-40 exit 216 in Brinkley and I-555 exit 45 in Jonesboro, AR. TM still has US 63 following the old route along concurrencies with I-40, I-55, and I-555, while the new route just follows the existing US 49.
As a result, the US 63 business routes in Jonesboro and Marked Tree have also been decommissioned.

The Marked Tree city map (https://www.arkansashighways.com/maps/cities/markedtree_city.pdf) shows AR149 taking over the vacated alignment on Frisco St.
In Jonesboro (https://www.arkansashighways.com/maps/cities/jonesboro_city.pdf), AR463 gets extended.
I've seen no evidence of this in GMSV (haven't exactly been searching old US63); haven't been paying attention to what's been said on AARoads.

Here's a 63 North sign from I-40 in Brinkley: link (https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9091556,-91.1912889,3a,23.3y,268.68h,93.83t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sBvjl5wrzjfbQISd2ZcBgHg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192)

I drove I-555 and I-55 between Jonesboro and Memphis about a month ago and I don't recall seeing a single US 63 sign. I don't know what signage is like on US 49/63 (aside from what the_spui_ninja posted above), but Arkansas is so bad at signing concurrencies it probably doesn't really even matter if there's not a whole lot of US 63 signage there.
-
Before I do anything to the former business routes, I'd like to see photos of any new signage.
Thanks for the sign for the 49/63 concurrency. I'll work on moving 63 when I can free up some more time, maybe next week.
-
EDIT: If the rerouting of US63 is confirmed in the field first, I'll make the changes based on that instead.

I merged the newer US 63 topic with the older US 63 topic.

In the HB, US63 is rerouted and US63BusJon is changed to AR463.
The vestigial orphaned US63BusMar still remains until there's confirmation of what happens to its intersecting/concurrent routes. :P
So at least users can still mark Frisco St, until it becomes part of AR149. ;)
