Title: North Macetonia: E65 Bitola
Post by: michih on April 22, 2019, 01:04:59 pm
I don't know whether E roads are signed in (North) Macedonia at all but GM indicates E65 concurrent to A3 around Bitola instead of through downtown.

Destination signage on GMSV suggests that the E65 goes through the town, rather going three times the distance on the bypasses.

I did, however, find a broken concurrency, which I should have fixed.

I've checked GSV west + south of Bitola and in Bitola. Please post a link. Thanks.

Greece signed through Bitola when approaching from west (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.0468574,21.2886379,3a,30.5y,147.91h,86.02t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sDFhs51UChBuEoTntAgmTFA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656).

Ohrid signed through Bitola when approaching from south (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@41.0231836,21.3394411,3a,40.2y,335.91h,83.5t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s85i0vaAV29CGbo8z2JBs_w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656).

Ergo the Ohrid-Bitola-Greece route goes through Bitola.

Ok, the "Greece" sign west of Bitola (however, GSV is from 2014/15... maybe one could check on-site whether it's still signed through Bitola 8))

Well it's not like the bypasses aren't there when the Ostrich went past!
