A couple upcoming projects along this corridor will lead to some minor realignments.
1. The current interchange at Scalp Ave (ScaAve) is being converted to a roundabout (https://www.penndot.gov/PennDOTWay/pages/Article.aspx?post=336). Right now this project is expected to be complete in 2022 (https://gis.penndot.gov/paprojects/Reports/ProjectReport.aspx?ProjectID=94476&ReportType=Anticipated).
2. A realignment just west of the PA 160 intersection (though they will still intersect at the same point). (https://www.penndot.gov/regionaloffices/district-9/pages/details.aspx?newsid=888) A temporary shaping point has been added at beginning of the realignment on the current alignment. (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/4571) The work for the realignment of PA 756 should be completed later this year.
EDIT (4-6-2021): The first project mentioned is starting on Monday, April 12, 2021, with completion expected in November 2022. (https://www.penndot.gov/RegionalOffices/district-9/pages/details.aspx?newsid=915)
EDIT (5-12-2021): The realignment portion of project one begins on May 17, 2021. (https://www.penndot.gov/RegionalOffices/district-9/pages/details.aspx?newsid=930)

It looks like based on this news release that I can move forward with the Project 1 changes. (https://www.penndot.gov/RegionalOffices/district-9/pages/details.aspx?newsid=991)

I am not sure if the realignment at PA 160 is complete or not, but I may readjust my route plan for my Saturday trip to field check this.

Field checking this shows the realignment of PA 756 as complete despite the project still being under construction. (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5298)
Anyway this means that this thread is completed.
