OH: Truck route 95 and Truck route 309?
« on: January 23, 2023, 02:59:45 pm »
I don't see Ohio truck route 95 or Ohio truck route 309 in the database. Are these legit routes? Here's some signage from a trip through the state last month (I thought it looked like it might have been in the process of being posted above the exit signage, but I see from Street View that the shields were missing back in October as well). The standalone shields weren't in the ground in the October Street View imagery, FWIW.

Am I correct that these signs are on US 23?

I wonder if this "TO US 23" shield has anything to do with it.  Obviously I would recommend adding a point on OH 95 there whether there are truck routes or not.

Mapcat has argued with me, RickMast, & Markkos over this route and objecting to it. The only signs for it are along US 23, and there are none along Marion-Williamport Rd. The only other sign for this 'Truck Route' is the 'To US 23' Shield along Oh 95, west of Marion (near a Whirlpool manufacturing plant).
To IMGoph, those missing "add-on" shields, for 95 & 309, along US 23, have been missing for years now. Going on 5-10 years.

Ok, I thought I had seen this one before.  I get the objection to it with the only shields being on US 23.  If they are ever added elsewhere, then we can discuss it further.

Nothing has changed. And until signs appear on the actual truck route, there's nothing to do here.
