Bit of an oddity here. There is some signage in the field indicating that US 460 follows I-95 south to exit 48 and then uses Wagner Rd to get back to County Dr, and showing County Dr from I-95 exit 50 to the intersection with Wagner Rd as US 460 Business:

but there is no mention of its presence when exiting:

TM shows US 460 following County Dr to I-95 exit 50 and shows 460 Business ending at the bottom of the ramps from exit 50. VA Highways Project seems to think US 460 was rerouted onto Wagner Rd ca. 2007: http://www.vahighways.com/route-log/us460b.htm
VDOT's current official state maps don't show enough detail in the area to say anything conclusive. I can't find an official text route log on line and while VDOT's website has GIS shapefiles available for download I lack the means to open and interpret them.
So what gives? Was US 460 officially rerouted by the state while the City of Petersburg is declining to acknowledge it? Or are the signs showing the reroute wrong?

mapmikey has a pull request in which includes the relocation of US460 along with some other things. I had a look thru the changes and wrote some updates text for them, and made some peer-review style suggestions for corrections and the like. Mapmikey responded to my suggestions, and I never responded to his response, having just skimmed it. So it looks like that thread may be waiting for a reply from me. And this was -- good lord -- a MONTH ago. Many apologies for dropping the ball here. I'm a big jerkface who oftentimes takes forever to do things he says he's going to...

It should be noted that the entirety of the County Dr and Wagner Rd routes are located within the city of Petersburg. And independent cities in Virginia are notorious for poor route signage.

Shapefiles continue to show the previous status - County Dr as mainline US 460 and Wagner Rd as an Urban Route.
The 2003 Route Log is the latest one I've seen. A couple years back I wrote VDOT to ask if an update to that was in the works and the response I got was not encouraging.
CTB has stopped documenting nearly all route change actions. The latest County Map atlas is 2004 which is before the signage was updated.
