FRA-NAQ: E606 truncation
« on: January 03, 2023, 02:33:04 pm »
E606 officially runs from Angoulème - Bordeaux. The logical end would be at the southern N141/E603 interchange (N10's exit 59). However, it was also signed up to 10km north of Angoulème, and we actually have a northern extension up to N10's exit 55: https://travelmapping.net/hb/showroute.php?r=franaq.e606

E606 signs mostly disappeared north of the eastern N141 branch (N10's exit 58) now:
- October 2017 => August 2018
- July 2019 => April 2021

It's still in place on N141's direction signs where E606 does not run on concurrency:
- October 2022 N141-westbound towards N10 northbound
- October 2022 N141-eastbound towards N10/N141 concurrency

Any concerns on truncating E606 to N10's exit 58 - or should I even truncate it to exit 59?

Definitely truncate.

Exit 59 seems the more natural place for the new terminus, but if you reckon exit 58, then go with that.
