SC: labels for former connectors
« on: November 05, 2021, 01:42:06 pm »
Found some vestigial waypoint labels for old Connector routes no longer in the HB.
This isn't an exhaustive list of all of`em, just those I noticed marked as a datacheck FP.

US1:   US1/21Con -> ChaHwy
US15:   US15/301Con -> DukSt
US21:   US21/76Con -> HugSt_S or BloSt_E
US29:   US29/20Con -> US29Con (assuming it's still signed; didn't check GMSV)
US301:   US301/521Con -> TriChuRd

US1:   US1/21Con -> ChaHwy

This would impact SC 35, SC 602, US 21, US 176, and US 321 as well.

Quote
US15:   US15/301Con -> DukSt

This would also be the case for US 301.

US21:   US21/76Con -> HugSt_S or BloSt_E

This would be the case for US 176 and US 321 as well.  It would also impact SC 48, US 76, and US 378.

US29:   US29/20Con -> US29Con (assuming it's still signed; didn't check GMSV)

Still signed as of June 2021.

Quote
US301:   US301/521Con -> TriChuRd

Looks the corresponding US 521 point would be MainSt.

New:
Quote
US 76: US76Con -> RosDr

This would also affect US 378 and SC 16.

Note that the US 15 CON in Summerton is signed such that it can be a label but not a clinchable route in TM under current practice - https://goo.gl/maps/Adv5n3RgTdYPbN2dA

The same is true for the US 301 CON in Alcolu - https://goo.gl/maps/sbVboWQtZrg5wBxC6

Other instances below were changed to regular street names...

Reminds me of "State Route 129", which extends south of actual ME129, although there are no signs to the south. And no other routes to intersect.

The following still needs to be done from what I see:

US 29:  US29/20Con -> US29Con (since it is still signed)
SC 48:  US21Con>-BloSt

US15 & US301 are still unchanged. Unsure if the intent was to change or leave as-is...

US15:   US15/301Con -> DukSt
Or not -- It's signed as Railroad Ave. And Oh Look -- there's another street blade (that same dark color again) for US15Con. With dual signage like this existing, how would that affect things?
On US301, I see 3 separate "301 Con" blades and 1 for Trinity Church.

Any which have a black blade (same marker for innumerable secondary labels used) with the CON designation I am leaving alone.  US 21 CON in Ridgeway is also signed this way.

There is actually US 301 CON 1 and US 301 CON 2 in Alcolu but I am not differentiating them for the purpose of waypoint labels.
