AASHTO Fall 2023 Meeting
« on: December 04, 2023, 08:38:02 pm »
https://transportation.org/route/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2023/12/Final_Report_USRN_Fall_2023_R_1.pdf

I am too tired to do much else with this for now, but yes, US 78 was approved to go into AR.   :pan:

I believe the US 1 removal is the decommissioning of US 1 ALT (Franklinton, NC).

The US 70 Bus reversion to US 70 is for Clayton, not Smithfield

it's the Smithfield route in our browser.

Theory: did OK get the 3xx numbers for the Fut240 renumbering the wrong way around? Kilpatrick meets I-35, Kickapoo doesn't.

Yeah I was reading that and it sounds like ND's just making it official. Might be they're planning on relocating it?

Looks like the 85B is indeed temporary until this project gets off the ground. Don't know why they didn't just make an ND 1804 truck route but whatever.

yes, US 78 was approved to go into AR.   :pan:
Major NEA cities, US67, Walnut Ridge / Hoxie... My first thought was they might run it up along I-555. But nooooo. Then I read more. :pan: is right.
ARDOT did the right thing by straightening out US63. And now they're making up for it with this. :P

Was there a map version/packet of this list somewhere?

Because I look at what's written for US 78 and it makes absolutely no freaking sense, but on the other hand, it's Arkansas.

(Yakra appears to have covered this, but I must "WTF, Arkansas?" any and all times necessary.)

No maps on the forum thread (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=34216.msg2898779#msg2898779).

However, the US 78 thread has a link to the map in the first post (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=34049.msg2879139#msg2879139).
