NY: I-86 Extension

I-86 is now officially extended east to Exit 67, per NYSDOT's Instagram account.

Out with the old, in with the new! A 32-mile stretch of State Route 17 in Broome and Tioga counties has been officially designated as Interstate 86. The portion between Exit 60 in Waverly and Exit 67 in Endicott was modernized to meet interstate standards and enhance safety and resiliency. It's a big win for Southern Tier travelers!

The post shows at least one Future I-86 sign being replaced by an I-86 sign.
