Title: AASHTO SCOH USRN Fall 2021
Post by: Markkos1992 on February 13, 2022, 06:45:40 pm
I guess I was not the only one that ended up watching the Super Bowl alone at home tonight.   ;D :pan:

https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=30449.msg2707334#msg2707334

As quoted from NE2:

AL US 90 realignment (removal of corner cut at Loxley)
DE US 9 Truck (Georgetown) realignment
IA US 151 Business (Cascade) realignment
MO US 54 Business (Lake Ozark) deletion
MO I-44 Business (Lebanon) deletion - application is missing
NC I-42 - application is missing
NC US 264 Alternate partial deletion, replaced by realigned US 264 (approved!)
OK I-240 extension - application is missing

All were approved, except that I-42 and I-240 need FHWA concurrence.

For more information on the US 9 TRUCK (Georgetown) realignment:  https://deldot.gov/projects/index.shtml?dc=details&projectNumber=T202004601

I think this is the first time I have seen an AASHTO application for a Truck Route.

GSV already shows the US 90 realignment at AL59_N (https://www.google.com/maps/@30.6326126,-87.7562008,3a,75y,20.54h,89.88t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sIMA0ak_NjErGMM57C5yMxg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192) (the new point should be at the CR 68 intersection) for whenever froggie next does an Alabama update.

None of the rest are either already in the HB or have been implemented yet (as far as we know).

Application, maybe.  But just remember, US-19 Truck here in Pittsburgh is officially in the log. ;)

And 1&9 in NJ of course, and apparently also DE US9TrkGeo. Maybe more.

IA US 151 Business (Cascade) realignment
This may be a step above a crapshoot. I e-mailed the DOT asking about this and "Business 30" for Mount Vernon-Lisbon and I was told the localities are in charge of the signs. BUT...clearly the only way it gets marked on BGSs is if the state does it! I checked out the MVL business route and, as I suspected, it is not signed at all. I can go ahead and make the changes, but proof is *shrug*.

Quote
MO US 54 Business (Lake Ozark) deletion
MO I-44 Business (Lebanon) deletion - application is missing
The first appears related to construction of a new interchange in the area (https://www.modot.org/Miller54Interchange). The second, I'd ask if it can it be deleted if the application isn't there, but Wikipedia already killed it, so *shrug*.

I'll go ahead and work on the changes. I think US 54 in the LOOZ area needs modification because of the project.

These changes are done here (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/5657).

I fixed this one this morning.

Looks like we can realign US 264 now:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=100.msg2798868#msg2798868

I plan to travel this corridor tomorrow on my Smithfield's Chicken-N-BBQ trip with my mom.

EDIT (12-21-2022):  We definitely can.  The only signs that still say ALT are on NC 11 Bypass.

EDIT (12-29-2022):  The US258 labels on US264AltWil need to be changed from W and E to S and N when working on the transition back to US 264.

I have rerouted US 264.  A new US 264 ALT (greenville) has been created.

The NC 111 labels need to be updated still at US 264 and I-587 (even though the ones on NC 222 were).

One issue with US-264.

56(587) +73 +JPEMemHwy
should be the following instead:
73 +56(587) +JPEMemHwy

You said you fixed this back in November (see I-587 thread (https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=5104.msg29613#msg29613)), but it hasn't made it to the site yet.

For more information on the US 9 TRUCK (Georgetown) realignment:  https://deldot.gov/projects/index.shtml?dc=details&projectNumber=T202004601

I think this is the first time I have seen an AASHTO application for a Truck Route.

Completion has been pushed back to Spring 2024 instead of 2023.
