Took a drive out to Ely last weekend, which brought me to a hair over 30% in Nevada. Clinched NV 379, NV 439, NV 487, NV 488, UT 159, CA 158, and the roads inside Great Basin National Park over the weekend, as well as US 6, US 50, and US 395 within Nevada.

Updates to Highway Data / Re: TX: A few updates

Business 77 in Yoakum is signed Business Alternate 77.
Indeed, consistently. Makes sense. Name changed, with an AltRouteName.

There's a well-signed truck route for US 183 in Cisco. It follows 8th St (TX 6) and Ave A.
Ah, this would be the one you texted me about. Looks like it bypasses a couple blocks of the built-up downtown core. To that end, a little odd perhaps there's no corresponding TX6Trk. *Shrug.* Added.

On Spur 334, the connection to US 183/277/283 is permanently closed, and appears to have been ever since the bypass was finished.
Marked as closed on TXSpr334.

Took a quick drive up to St Helens to investigate I-30's attempts to infiltrate the Pacific Northwest, and indeed, found a well-signed I-30 Business Loop here in Oregon.
Walked around St Helens' plaza for a few minutes to check out their annual Halloweentown festivities, happy to see a Spanish-style plaza here in my relative backyard.
Stopped by Fred Meyer in Scappoose on the way back to grab some caulking to plug up an ant entry in my kitchen and slogged back through traffic in Portland.

Updates to Highway Data / OR: I-30 BL St Helens
« Last post by Bickendan on September 20, 2022, 07:20:23 pm »
The title's ironically quite correct.

Per https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=32145.msg2770302#msg2770302, I drove up to St Helens today to field check this, and Bus 30 is well signed along eastbound Gable Rd and Old Portland Rd, and in both directions along Columbia Blvd. The photo in the AARoads thread is at Old Portland and 1st. No BUS US 30 assemblies, all green interstate shields.
No signage from US 30, however.

This isn't an ODOT recognized loop, as that was decomissioned a while back, if ever a formal ODOT route (I don't see a decom entry for US 30 Bus in the Oregon Named Highways list); I doubt AASHTO heard of this without diving into the AASHTO thread at AARoads.

As the route is well signed in the field: Do we add this to our database, and if so, as US 30 Bus, or as signed as I-30 BL (despite being nowhere close to I-30 itself)?
If not, at minimum, the StHelSt point for US 30 needs to be looked at to see if it should changed to ColBlvd, as that's the dominant portion of the St Helens St/Columbia Blvd couplet.

Updates to Highway Data / Re: NY: Point Request (US 11)
« Last post by webny99 on September 20, 2022, 06:17:40 pm »
Another US 11 point suggestion: CR 31/Jennings Creek Rd between NY79_W and NY221.
...here are a few more that I would like to submit for consideration:

US9W: between CR10 and US44_E at CR11 (this is an important one as CR11 is an important connector from US 44 EB to the Mid-Hudson Bridge) (41.696565, -73.967269)
NY3: between NY180 and I-81 at OldRomStaRd (43.969665, -75.986294)
NY22: between JerSt and Dock St at MidRd (bypass of Essex) (44.307194, -73.380887)
NY77: between NY78/98 and US20AltGen at PerRd (42.704827, -78.387899)

Adding one more on to the list:

NY 36 at CR64 (Perry Rd) between ParkRd and US20AltGen_E (42.756331, -77.884670)

This is an important one because it's used as a connector between NY36 and US20A for traffic between Buffalo and the Southern Tier. In fact it is part of the fastest Buffalo-NYC route, so it definitely meets the criterion of serving regional travelers!

Other Discussion / Re: Project Statistics

I just want to note that we are only 11 routes away from having 50,000 active routes, and 3,634 miles from 1.2 million active miles.
I think that either oscar with usaca or si404 with isrr+lsoa+gnbn+gabn activation will do the trick (hopefully soon) :)

Looks like si404 beat me to the punch on one or both thresholds. I was going to hold off until the next system update, to make sure my latest pull requests (which Si has merged) made usaca ready for activation, before submitting my activation pull requests. That would also make sure my activation requests don't conflict with Si's.

usaca is a huge system, with 268 routes and about 11,000 miles. By itself it would easily exceed the above thresholds, even if Si's new systems somehow don't.

<snip>
All fine

There's no datacheck errors, and the few NMPs seem to be false positives.

Have a look tomorrow, and make sure it's all OK, though the changes look absolutely fine, and it should be fine to activate (and I'm not delaying you so you don't get to trigger the milestones you point out in the statistics thread - you can do it tonight if you want).

Completed Highway Systems Threads / Re: isrr: Israel Regional Roads

I didn't look to deep into it but:
- R417/R436 wps (NMP) need to be synced
- R437 wp order need to be fixed (SA error)
- Remaining data errors are likely to be marked FP
Concurrency fixes have been reported earlier

I think that we can activate the system when you are also happy with it :)
