NM: US 54 Relocation at Canadian River Bridge near Logan

The New US 54 Canadian River Bridge that will realign the route in the area is supposed to open sometime this fall.  I could not find anything other than by October as of this morning so I have no clue if it is open.

OSM shows the new bridge's routing. It is a really minor realignment, looks like just another bridge replacement more or less within the existing ROW, which I think we generally ignore because it happens so often. Basically, the new bridge is only 0.08 mile from the old one, and is within the Waypoint Editor's lateral tolerance.

Thing is, I went through there in late June of this year. I don't recall seeing any noteworthy construction.

I'll have to follow up later, but my hunch is I'll end up taking no action, or at most putting in points at both ends of the relocation for anybody who is more fussy than I am about treating this as a declinch.

It looks like the completion date has moved to the Summer of 2021.

This bridge has opened as of June 30, 2021.
