ON: ON4/ON4StT to be merged
« on: February 29, 2020, 03:19:14 am »
I had been holding off on doing this for awhile, as I heard rumors that the two separate sections would be finally re-merged again after being separated back in 1997 in the great downloading.

Well, it finally has happened.  It's on a slightly different alignment than before, but the route is now 1 again going along Wonderland Road on the outskirts of London, ON.  And yes, this DOES include a SIGNED multiplex with ON-401, joining ON-6 as the only other route to have one with the 401.

This includes not breaking anybody's list files, as I was able to merge the 'GlaDr' & 'ON401' points from the ON4StT file into a single point @ 'ON401(177)', as the 'GlaDr' point was just there due to the WB Exit 177B ramp connecting to that road, and keeping that part of Colonel Talbot Rd under their control since ON-4 originally went farther North from there along it.  Now, with ON-4 jumping onto the 401 to get over to Wonderland Rd, it can be considered all as one point. :)

Sorry for the late request, but I could use a point at Fanshawe Park Rd in London. It's a more significant road than Gainsborough, so you could move that point over (I'm the only user currently using GaiRd).

I mainly chose Gainsborough to keep around a ~2mi gap between points in the urban area there.

However, I've added it (FanParkRd), and kept GaiRd for now.
