Title: TX: Spur 293

So, this is an interesting one. It is a spur off of FM 293, and the only mention of it in TXDOT's designation files are among the files for FM 293 (a search for FS 293 finds nothing).

However, it is signed as SS 293 (https://goo.gl/maps/bkzWynJ8dHmEegcp6), pretty (https://goo.gl/maps/w2B8WuCsMSNm8Xqo6) consistently (https://goo.gl/maps/ZLF7xhRJeoQqhU1e9) even (https://goo.gl/maps/FTxLpgjWUsMGibBx6).

I'd thus argue this belongs in usatxs based on signage.

I believe all FM spurs use the State Spur shields. I think it is interesting to see that there is actually a town called Panhandle, TX.  Is that unique amongst the panhandles?

Yes, FM Spurs confusingly use the same style shield as State Spurs. But they're a different beast.

WRT the designation files, FS seems to be a somewhat newer designation type, and many (most?) of the FM spurs are still defined in the same designation file as the parent route.
