Title: PA:PA 903 Relocation in Jim Thorpe
Post by: Markkos1992 on April 30, 2016, 10:45:05 am
Within the next month or so (most recent article I could find (http://www.tnonline.com/2015/sep/09/903-bridge-slated-open-spring)), PA 903 is planned to be relocated onto a new bridge about 1,000 feet northwest of the current bridge, which will be demolished.  This bridge will connect PA 903 directly from US 209 to North Street.  As a result, the current point on US 209 at PA 903 will also have to be moved to the new intersection.

EDIT: Current planned date for opening is early July (http://www.penndot.gov/RegionalOffices/district-5/Pages/details.aspx?newsid=385#.V2n4m2grKhc)

And thanks to StreetView, found this nice little gem there, an inverted colored PA Turnpike 476 shield (https://goo.gl/maps/iYTJ7dFN9iC2). haha.

Anyways, fix for this has been submitted as Pull Request #1038 (https://github.com/TravelMapping/HighwayData/pull/1038).
