There has been an important rededication of Italian motorways: A3, which was the entire motorway between Napoli and Reggio Calabria, now refers only to the stretch from Napoli to Salerno. The rest of the motorway (Salerno - Reggio Calabria) along with a section of RA2 (from the connection to A30 in Fisciano to the connection of old A3 near Salerno), will bear the name of A2 "Autostrada del Mediterraneo". The rest of RA2 (Fisciano - Avellino) will retain its denomination.

The official rededication is legal from 13 June.

I'm waiting for some evidence of signage changes. I have files prepared to deal with the numbering change.
