Title: NY: NY434 Waypoint 14
Post by: bhemphill on September 23, 2017, 02:56:42 pm
With the preference for visible waypoints at an intersection if they can be used instead of hidden shape points, shouldn't waypoint 14 on NY434 be moved slightly west to the Murray Hill Road intersection?  There is a westbound exit for Old Vestal Road so you could leave the point in place and have a one point per interchange thing there, but I think that Murray Hill Road with having a stoplight is a more clear and concise visible point location.

For a 1PPI situation, I'd also think Murray Hill Road to be the most appropriate point location.
I considered just flat-out deleting the shaping point, as the route trace would still be within lateral tolerance, but it looks like a somewhat significant commercial area, and connects to a NY201 interchange. So what the hey, MurHillRd it is.

Change committed to GitHub; I'll bundle it with some changes to NY32 & pals, and edit this post once I open a pull request.
