Looks like this may be back on the drawing board. This article (https://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/new-connector-planned-to-link-nova-scotia-s-highway-101-hammonds-plains-road-1.7085533) also mentions a future connector from existing NS101 Exit 2 to NS213, at/near LarUteBlvd. A new waypoint may or may not be needed.
These items may show up in the 2025-26 Five Year Plan when it's released.
