From the looks of these (https://www.google.com/maps/@37.1662484,-80.4128929,3a,65.5y,208.32h,92.39t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sD5QCrsXxaFclJCk434N3zA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656) signs (https://www.google.com/maps/@37.1657726,-80.415816,3a,49y,208.71h,96.43t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s15KIi_p6zAB8tQhV3uB-ow!2e0!7i13312!8i6656), it seems that it ends east of US 460. Since TM maps a fair number of other VA routes to an endpoint slightly past a freeway interchange (112 (http://travelmapping.net/hb/?u=mapcat&r=va.va112) and 177 (http://travelmapping.net/hb/?u=mapcat&r=va.va177) for example) I thought this might be worth investigating.

They have even assigned an SR route to the frontage road now. I have extended VA 114 to this point.
I also extended NC 344 based on this principle as its posted endpoint is west of US 17.
