Just one correction here. Green Lake recently, I believe this past fall, changed Bus 23's east end point. At N Lawson Dr and North St, the they made it so that Bus 23 heads north on Thrasher Dr to Wis 23. They turned Lawson into a cul de sacs both north and south of 23.

I understand the moving of the waypoint on WI23 Bus (Green Lake). What confuses me is why the northern waypoint is labeled WI23BusGre_N? Following the normal naming conventions, shouldn't it still be labeled WI23_N? http://tm.teresco.org/hb/?r=wi.wi023busgre (http://tm.teresco.org/hb/?r=wi.wi023busgre). The changes on WI23 look fine. I'm just confused about the Business route.

Copy/paste goof?

I suppose that is possible. I just didn't want to change my list file only to find out that the waypoint was incorrectly named and then make a second change if/when the point gets renamed.

I'm sure, should it change, it would become an alt label, so as not to break .list files.

It's not in any .list files yet, so I just changed it. I probably won't be able to launch a site update until Thursday, though.

Perhaps I was unclear in my first post on this topic. This might be a better way to ask.
Is is appropriate to use the route name (in this case WI23Bus) as a waypoint on the route in question?
I didn't think it was correct to use a self-reference within the route. It does appear correctly now, so that answers my original question and this thread can be moved to "old topics."
Thanks for making the change Jim.

I would bet it was copied and pasted in from the WI23 file to make sure it matched coordinates, but the label did not get renamed. It definitely wasn't an appropriate place for a self-reference.
I was able to get a site update through last night, so the change is live.

Thanks for both the explanation and the fix.

Looks like everything is good on both the browser and my local file (made sure the point names were right).
